Travelling to the conference venue

By Bus

You can travel to Canberra from Sydney via bus quite comfortably in approximately 3 hours. Murrays runs an hourly Sydney-Canberra coach service, departing from Sydney CBD and Sydney International Airport. The coach stops at the Jolimont Centre, 65-67 Northbourne Avenue (next to the Novotel Canberra, see map). Getting to the Crawford School is then about a 20min walk or short cab ride.

By Train

It’s possible to travel by train from Sydney to Canberra via CountryLink, although it takes approximately 4 hours, and stops at Kingston Station which is then an approx. 10 min cab ride to the conference venue.

By Plane

Qantas and Virgin Australia flights service Canberra Airport daily. The Airport Express shuttlebus offers airport-city-airport services daily. Other stops include Russell, National Convention Centre and YHA. Cost is $12 one way and $20 return. The airport is approximately a 15min cab ride from the conference venue in good traffic.

Canberra Cabs and Silver Service provide taxi services in Canberra.  Public transport is via ACTION buses.
